Inspired by the bustling energy and bold street art of New York City. I aimed to capture the raw and layered experience of running through the streets of the city, and all of the street art that a runner might pass by on their route.
The runner is captured mid-stride, with a sense of movement, suggesting the energy and speed of the run. New York's iconic hot dog carts and urban scenery, rendered in shades of gray and black, giving the image a vintage, almost cinematic quality. Using high contrast, from the concrete grays of skyscrapers and the lively yellow of the cities iconic taxis.
